The Transforming Sandbox Picnic Table
Constructed of sturdy Canadian Hemlock, the 2-in-1 unit provides a 41 1/4-gallon sandbox and 43 1/4″ L x 19″ W picnic area when open, and folds down to a compact 87″ L x 43 1/4″ W x 11″ H when not in use.
The sandboxes’ 6 1/4″-tall sides ensure sand (required) stays contained and its 41 3/4″ L x 36 1/4″ W area provides ample space for constructing sand castles or searching for buried treasure.
The picnic benches’ support up to 100 lbs. each and the table’s five-plank surface is ideal for holding a little one’s lunch or toddler-sized refreshments. When playtime is over, the picnic table folds flat over the sandbox to keep animals and branches out while restoring lawn space to the yard. Assembly required.
