 Mathmos Revolution

The Revolution uses the heat energy given off by two tea light candles in the center that spin some angled blades above. Attached to the blades are some cut outs of skeletal horsemen that start to move without being touched. This effect looks great in a dark corner and would make a fantastic focal point for parties and guests.

For New-York based artist Dan Golden, this rule was apparently long overdue to be broken. Teaming up with interior designer Ford Lininger, a series of luxurious, hand-tufted New Zealand wool carpets were created. Each features one of Golden’s playful yet sophisticated works, making the floor, rather than the wall, the focal point of the room.
