The Gravity Defying Car Speed Pipes
This is the set of curving illuminated tubes through which two remotely controlled cars defy gravity as they twist and turn at full speed. The 24 tubes connect to one another to create endless courses of hairpin turns, corkscrews, loops, figure-eights, and more. Powered by miniature electric motors that spin at 50,000 RPM, each of two five-wheeled racers slides into a tube, inside of which it speeds through curves and straights at any angle—even 100% vertical climbs—with dizzying speed at the command of an infrared remote, enabling two players to challenge each other for course supremacy. An LED-powered strobe ball moves within the tube and generates a multicolored strobe effect when nudged by either racer. Each remote requires two AA batteries.
