Omega EVEREST Electric Adjustable Height Standing Desk

iMovR’s Omega Desk line (patents pending), incorporates a SteadyType© infinitely-adjustable keyboard tray right into the desktop. When seated, other adjustable keyboard trays try to improve ergonomics by tilting the keyboard’s front edge up in order to eliminate “wrist extension”. However, standing desk and treadmill desk users soon find conventional keyboard trays cannot tilt down to achieve ideal ergonomics when standing or walking – they were never designed to.

The proprietary SteadyType design allows the keyboard to be set at literally any angle up to -85 degrees (without losing your keyboard). For treadmill deskers, the SteadyType design eliminates “anchoring stresses” on the wrists. With the Omega Everest with SteadyType Keyboard Tray, users will no longer have to “anchor” themselves to their desk by pressing down on their palms to keep their hands over the keyboard and maintain stability. The net result is improved comfort, higher typing speeds, and greater accuracy at faster walking speeds than can be achieved with any other treadmill desk setup.

The Omega Everest reaches a top-end height of over 51″, and descends to a sitting height of 25″.The EVEREST features a digital controller with a height readout and four programmable memory presets.

One of the quietest electric desks ever made, the Omega Everest puts out only 46″ decibels when lifting (42 dB when descending), barely noticeable against typical office air conditioning background noise.

The Everest’s weight lifting capacity is rated at 220 lbs. The travel speed is a lightning 1.5″/second.

Omega desks feature iMovR’s exclusive 3D lamination for the ultimate in aesthetics, ergonomic comfort and durability.
