The iPad may provide us with a crisp, high-quality view of our favorite flicks and shows, and while its sleek screen and lightweight body make it ideal for lounging, the audio unfortunately takes a back seat to the visuals. When docked, placed on a table, or nestled in our laps to share a screening with friends, the iPad’s rear-facing speaker system aims the audio away from the viewers, and as a result, those in front of the screen are left straining to hear the juicy dialogue while those in the room are blasted with unwanted spoilers.
