The camera is mounted atop a 3′ pole with a turf spike, allowing instant placement in the tee box or fairway without disrupting play. The camera’s wide-angle lens captures a golfer’s entire swing when the unit is placed 10′ away and it records crisp 720p or 1080p HD video at 60 or 30 frames per second with the touch of a button.
The camera’s 8 GB internal memory stores up to two hours of video that can be transferred via the included USB cable to a computer for golf swing analysis. The built-in wind-resistant microphone allows golfers to verbally identify the golf club and distance to the hole before each shot. About the size of a fairway iron, the unit stores unobtrusively in a golf bag.
